Jourdan Elliott serves as the Senior Recruitment Coordinator at Breakthrough Birmingham. She plays a vital role in recruiting our Teaching Fellows and scholars for our summer program. She is a dedicated graduate student at the University of West Alabama, pursuing a Master’s degree in Education with a specialization in Student Affairs in Higher Education. As a passionate social advocate and lifelong learner, Jourdan is committed to advancing equity and justice through education and community engagement. Her work centers on fostering diversity and inclusion, with a particular focus on cultivating inclusive learning environments where all individuals can thrive. Through both academic pursuits and professional practice, Jourdan strives to create meaningful spaces for growth, learning, and positive social change.
