Our Team

Hattie O’Hara is growing Breakthrough Birmingham through authentic relationships and strategic storytelling. As Development Manager, she is helping donors reverse education inequity through individual giving and citywide partnerships. Before joining Breakthrough, she served as Assistant Director of Service-Learning and Community Partnerships at her alma mater, Birmingham-Southern College. Her background also includes work with the Global Village Project, a school for refugee girls, and the Birmingham Education Foundation. Outside of work, Hattie can be found searching for new music, planning a trip, or working on the next episode of her Instagram series “One Week In Birmingham”.
