Our Team

Karima (Moor) Sadler serves as Program Coordinator for ExploreU. ExploreU is Breakthrough Birmingham’s High School Program. Here, Karima can help scholars with their post-secondary next steps, like college, workforce, etc. She believes planning life after high school can be stressful for a teenager, but the sooner we prepare them, the better. Often, a lack of knowledge and resources keeps our scholars in the dark. Through clubs, mentorship, field trips, and outings, Karima can help broaden our scholars’ horizons and the available opportunities. Karima is passionate about helping people discover themselves and pushing them past their potential. She believes we are only limited by what our minds are capable of. Karima loves working with young people because they are our leaders not for tomorrow, but today. Karima loves to write poetry and sing. Through her art, she loves to bring people perspective, love, and joy.
